This trip explores parts of Los Angeles county that you never imagined existed.

Nestled throughout the canyons of the Santa Monica Range,we will explore a series of quiet, ruggedly beautiful climbs They stretch from Malibu on the famous Pacific Coast Highway, to the peaks above Topanga.

We will ride in the shade of the Fernwood climb next to wild jade plants. Along the ranches of Mulholand Hwy and even on sections of hwy closed to motorized traffic

Laps along famous canyon roads. Up,down and along Latigo,Tuna,Yerba Buena and the stunning ocean views from Deer Creek Canyon Road.

This is one of the best warm weather camp locations in North America

Log some early season efforts in Coastal California.

5 Days riding lead by TaG Coach Ted Battiston. Options to ride any days self directed if you wish.

  • Day 1 - Optional shakeout ride up Rockstore

  • Day 2 - Potrero Road via Lake Sherwood, to the coast and back up Yerba Buena. This is a great first main day as it starts with some flats as a good warm up. You get to see the beautiful coast, then head up one main climb for the day.

  • Day 3 - “Queen stage”. Two big climbs; Piuma and Fernwood. As it’s a figure 8 it’s easy to skip the second loop if some don’t want to do it.

  • Day 4 - Up Rockstore, down Mulholland, along the coast and up Latigo. Probably the most iconic climb in the area. Despite how the stats look on paper, this is a much easier day than yesterday.
