TaG Cycling Race Team lineup for 2023
Returning as TaG Head Sports Director is former Pro Gillian Ellsay, and to top off the team, we are excited to announce the addition of Gordon Fraser as the Director Sportif.
TaG shining young stars bring home a National Title and more!
TaG Cycling Race Team bringing home a National Title for Junior Mara Roldan! Mara is an accomplished racer on the MTB where we found her 2 years ago. She races for Charge BCXC off road and recently discovered her talent on the road.
Women’s Team Update
The Tag Cycling Race Team women have been busy this season to date! Many of the women are balancing studies and work with racing, however they have managed to maximize on both. Mara Roldan, our lone junior racer, has had a standout season so far
Men’s Team Update
Earlier this month the men’s team completed Essor Breton, a five-day stage race in the Bretagne region of France.
Stage 1 proved to be a tough day on the bike for most the team.
TaG Race Team was founded by 1996/2000 Canadian Cycling Olympian Lesley Tomlinson who is currently joined by 3 x Olympian Gordon Fraser as directeur sportif.
The team's mandate is to recruit, develop and mentor developing talents in cycling through a specifically targeted program with the goal of continuation in the sport at an elite level. TaG provides opportunities for young racers to compete at the highest levels of the sport as a pathway into professional cycling.

“As a development cyclist we all need support, and it is not always easy to find in the short window we have to excel,” says Tomlinson. “I feel fortunate that I was able to get to high-level races early in my career. I think it made all the difference to where I ended up and ultimately competing on the World Stage. That is what we strive to provide for our team”
TaG Race Team has produced Provincial, National and World Champions and has alumni that went on to be contracted by professional teams including World Tour development teams.
TaG Cycling is a coaching company, proud to support riders at all levels. From Elite, age group to new riders.
