What she thinks about Pink and why TaG integrated it into the womens clothing
So as for the colour Pink, it was never my favourite colour when I was young, in fact I was totally against it because it was stereotyped as so “girly”. And then my dad surprised me with my bars wrapped in pink bartape for the first time, and suddenly I saw it as unique. I saw very few people at races with bright pink bars or socks or powermeters, and people started associating me with the colour. I’m fast and successful with my Pink highlights, and breaking the stereotype of the colour; on the contrary it is fierce, powerful, vibrant. I draw strength from the colour and it has been by my side when winning the Rainbow Stripes. In fact, I think Pink is the missing stripe on the Rainbow Jersey. Maggie
