Sarah Ostler

Sarah Ostler Ironman Finisher

You asked for details regarding the ironman but really that was just the icing on the cake of a amazing year! Thank you for a fantastic training plan that helped me cross one off from my bucket list. I cannot really explain the joy of having the daunting task of training for an ironman simplified to a plan that accommodated my ridiculous work schedule. It is one of the rare times in my life that I actually did as I was told!!! I had several goals that I had set prior to starting last year with the journey actually being more important to me than the finale. Your training plan nailed them!!

Goals

1. Not get injured –None not a single one
2. Enjoy the training-Loved it!! Loved the variety loved the fact that I trained for a marathon without EVER running on the roads
3. Not be stressed about the training-NONE I let you handle that!
4. Push my limits- hmm may have more
5. Complete a TaG workout- getting close in indoor, bring on the GaL challenge this spring
6. Complete an ironman –DONE!*

You should be extremely proud of TaG cycling and it has been fun to watch it grow. You have created a magical place where the average Joe is able to ride alongside superstars and experience first hand their work ethic as well as their passion. As I come to TaG to upgrade the motor on my bike……… to one with a cadence of 100…….. I reflect on the wonderful wall of quotes from heroes and legends. However the wall with just the Tag logo is more important to me. This wall in my mind is also full of quotes, these I carry in my head throughout my training and in my events.

Okay Guys warm up is done now here is the work out …………..we are doing three of these………TaG leaders

Up! Up! Up! UUUUUP!………………….LT
Push, Pull, Push, Pull, Push, Pull……………… GG
Don’t you love that feeling when you hit your 85% and your feet just float on your Pedals……………………BK
5,4,3, ………….once you earn the real-estate keep the real-estate …… 5,4,3,2,1………….LT
Mom your cycling shoes reek! ………. Teenage son of a Tag mom
EVERYBODY’S legs hurt… Yes mine too…………..LT
You find a hill and you go up it hard and then you come back down and you do it again and again and again…………..GG
Maybe, try push it a bit ……………….LT

Thanks for a wonderful year! I am now starting to rust! See you at TaG as I continue to work on my bike motor and determine my next bucket list project. – Sarah (aka cadence 85!)
