Axel has bike racing in his blood following suit from his father and grandfather who raced in Canada in the past. He is in his second year of U23 and trying to progress his way from the domestic level to professional. He has raced for Team Ontario as a junior and has 2 national championship titles in the team pursuit including a current Canadian record.
As a current racer, Axel likes to connect training to race situations and use stories as part of his training. His classes are focused on digging deeper and always contain stories of his own racing experiences.
