Special mention goes to Neil McDonnell and JoAnne Mahon who were the first TaG riders through the finish line for men and woman in the 100km event. And, Jo-Anne who was the first TaG female through in the 100km event placing 258 overall (men and women) posting a time fo 4:41:01
In the 140km event Kevin Mahon was the first TaG male through the finish line posting a time of 5:52:58, while Donna Begg was hot on his heels with the fastest TaG woman’s time for 5:53:15.
Many TaG riders headed over to the island this past weekend to ride the Tour de Victoria. The Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is a supported mass participation cycling event, catering to all fitness levels by offering three distances: the League 140km for the enthusiast, the Island Savings 100km for the entry-level rider and a 50km ride for those who want to experience cycling for the first time.
